Places to visit in Nicosia

Divided into north and south, Nicosia is the only capital city in the world shared by two separate governments. Morphou, which is said to have been founded by the Spartans for the goddess Aphrodite, is a holiday paradise that awaits you in the northwest of the TRNC with its festivals and natural beauty unique to the region. Among the places you can visit in Güzleyurt are; St. Mamas Church, known as one of the great examples of gothic architecture of its time; Soli Basilica, one of the first churches of Christianity; Morphou Nature and Archeology Museum, where works from the Bronze Age and natural finds are exhibited; Tumba Tu Skuru, a settlement left over from the Bronze Age; the famous Blue Mansion, out of sight yet full of legendary stories and mysteries.

The city of İskele, at the intersection of the Mesarya Plain and Karpaz peninsula, offers calm and breathtaking views and scents of the sea where you will find many places to enjoy the sea and do some sightseeing. We have listed a few of these places below:
